Hopecliff is a family run guest house situated in a quiet road just off the coastal path, an ideal base for walkers with well documented footpaths and trails. We are situated just outside the town centre and within a few minutes walk of Shanklin train station with its rail links to Sandown and Ryde, a regular open topped bus service stops just at the end of the road with links and tours to the rest of the island, so we are in the ideal location to either enjoy all that Shanklin has to offer or be a bit more adventurous and explore the rest of the lovely Isle of Wight. Hopecliff has just undergone major refurbishment and we know that you will love our beautiful well equiped rooms. The accomodation breifly comprises of a double room with en-suite bathroom to the ground floor, which may suit those of you who dont want to be running up and down the stairs. On the 1st floor we have a beautiful four-poster room with en-suite bathroom and sea views, a double room with its own private shower room and a further Jaccuzzi bathroom and for our visiting families we have a family suite which comprises of a double room with sea views, a seperate twin room for the youngsters and your own bath/shower room with oversized shower and seperate bath. An outer locking door separates the suite from the rest of the guest house giving total privacy to our families. All rooms are well equiped with complementary tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers, tv and radio alarm clocks, furnished with tasteful furniture to ensure your comfort and giving ample storage. Ironing board available on request and we have on site off road parking.

We provide an excellent breakfast and packed lunches can be prebooked if required, we also provide a evening snack menu which you can have served to your room or you may want to use the dining room, our guests are also welcome to bring their fish & chips or takeaway back to the dining room if they wish. We are a small guest house which allows us to ensure that all of our guests are properly cared for and get everything that they need to ensure that they have the ultimate relaxing and memorable holiday.
