CRECHE The Island Day Nursery welcomes children aged 1 to 8 years and is Ofsted approved. Sessions can be booked by the hour or by the day for a moderate additional charge. Why not pre-book your place by calling 01983 294930.

MONKEY MANSION Our large, new indoor soft play area is where little monkeys aged between 3 and 11 can let off steam. All under the watchful eye of their parents who have their own lounge area. This facility is now included in your holiday price. OUTDOOR ADVENTURE PLAY AREA Recently re-equipped, our play ground is great for children of all ages to enjoy the slides, swings and ropes. With bench seating for parents, this surprisingly large play area is always popular

HEATED INDOOR SWIMMING POOL Children love water and that is why parents love to bring their children to Gurnard Pines. With fun water sessions in our huge heated indoor pool, there are plenty of other activities like Young Olympics and Fun Hour, all under the watchful eye of our RLSS certified lifeguards.

HEATED OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOLS New in 2006, our outdoor pool complex is truly impressive. There is a large main pool, as well as a smaller paddling pool and a water play area, where jets of water randomly shoot high. With plenty of sun loungers and patio furniture, it is great for mums and dads too. Fully supervised by RLSS trained lifeguards, our swimming pool is open from 22 May to 4 September 2009. SWIMMING LESSONS Many parents now bring their children to Gurnard Pines to learn to swim. Our qualified RLSS lifeguards provide expert tuition for children of all ages and skill level. Your swimming lessons can be pre-booked by calling our Leisure Club team on 01983 292395 who can advise of price and availability

JUNIOR TENNIS ACADEMY Our Tennis Academy is incredibly popular with kids. We have Lawn Tennis Association licensed coaches who provide mini tennis and tennis coaching as well as one to one tuition from beginner to advanced players. WOODLAND NATURE WALK Children love getting close to nature and our own nature walk through shaded woodland is a real treat. As well as a wide variety of plants and trees, including the pines from where we take our name, there is a variety of wild life including rabbits, pheasants and red squirrels - now virtually extinct on the British mainland. At the heart of the nature walk is a clearing next to a lake; it's the ideal spot for a picnic although watch out for the families of ducks!.

EVENINGS As the sun sets, the atmosphere at Gurnard Pines becomes distinctly relaxed. Why not take in the sunset over the nearby beach (it truly is spectacular) and follow up with a delicious meal or a relaxing drink in The Brasserie. And of course, your own private veranda at your Holiday Home is somewhere very special to enjoy time together as a family.
