One of the few unspoilt non-commercialised coastal sites, which is situated in area of outstanding natural beauty on the s.w. coast. Easy direct access to Brighstone beach and picturesque views of our Chine, Brighstone and Mottistone downs and forest. The whole area is ideal for cycling, fishing, fossil hunting and walking.
We have 4 self catering barn conversions and 12 static caravans. Our static caravans are situated on what was once an old lifeboat station area, a stones throw from the beach! Our Campsite offers electric and non electric pitches. Camping facilities include toilets, showers and laundry facilities. Dogs are allowed providing they are controlled and kept on a lead on site. The island has a plethora of footpaths and bridleways ideal for your canine friend.
We are a small family run working farm, with many unusual friendly animals. All our animals are pets, we have Alpacas, llamas, rare breed pigs, goats, pony, horse, donkey, water buffalo's, poultry etc + small pets.
We have a small shop on site selling groceries, toys, beach goods, camping equipment and some Island produced goods. The local village of Brighstone is only 3/4 of a mile ( 10-15 mins walk). The village provides 2 pubs, corner tea rooms, a mace shop, newsagents, post office and the only National trust shop on the island. Tourist Board 3 star & David Bellamy Gold conservation award.
Accommodation With exception of the school summer holidays, certain breeds/types of dogs are allowed in the Cabin, and in 4 of our static caravans.
Camping We allow well behaved dogs on site throughout the season. |
