Guests Comments:
We wanted somewhere a little special for our Honeymoon but by chance we tried Ric & Maggie\'s other accomodation in Godshill called Koala Cottage but was fully booked,So Maggie decided that she could accomodate us at the Enchanted Manor and it did not disappoint us at all,the genuine hospitality was second to none and would recommend to anyone. The rooms were excellent and my wife even took photos to show all back home.
With Ric & Maggie\'s hard work I\'m sure The Enchanted Manor will be a huge success and wish them both the best of luck.
We have already discussed returning in the near future.
Well worth a visit.

Feeling in need of a break and at very short notice we decided to see if we could book into a hotel that we frequently stay at on the Isle of Wight, but on this occasion they were unable to accomodate us. Feeling disappointed we had to make a decision to chance staying somewhere else or maybe not bother. We remembered from a previous visit during May 2007 on one of our walks around the island seeing The Enchanted Manor and being quite intrigued by it. We looked up on the internet and decided to give them a call and see if we could get a room. On calling them we we received a very friendly and helpful welcome, despite not being fully open, they were very willing to accomodate us. On arrival this friendly genuine welcome continued and also through out our stay we were made to feel at home, and what a home it is. All the rooms are decorated and equiped to a very high standard, we could not believe how spacious and comfortable the rooms and beds were. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is one of which you can thoroughly relax and enjoy. Lovely artwork and themes to suite the title of this hotel are found throughout. A great choice of breakfast is served in a lovely setting, all you normally expect, but more, loose tea and fish cakes a must!!! We enjoyed it so much that we have booked another break in August this year and are looking forward to it.

We have just returned from a 5 day break on the Isle of Wight staying at the Enchanted Manor. We actually stayed here in 1976 when it was the Windcliffe Manor Hotel but there the comparison ends. This luxuriously renovated and highly decorated Manor House is truly 5 star and lives up to its name. From the suite accommmodation to the marvellous breakfasts and most of all the great hospitality shown by the hosts Maggie and Ric, we highly recommend it.

The are even more improvements on the way to the swimming complex and the gardens and we will certainly re-book when we next return to the Island.

From the moment of our arrival, we knew our stay at the Enchanted Manor was going to be an out of the ordinary experience. Entering the drive and seeing before us the restored, renovated and decorated entrance was our first intake of breath. The welcome greeting from Ric & Maggie was warm and friendly and we immediately felt that we had known them for years. The entire standard of the Enchanted Manor is the highest we have met in many years of travel through out the world. No detail is to small to be anything less than perfect. The fantastic decor throughout is a mixture of luxury and fantasy. The standard of service, food and hygene cannot be faulted. The suites have every comfort with opulence aplenty. A complementary basket of luxury goodies awaited us and the mini bar was well stocked (and not at exhorbitant prices) The tireless efforts of Ric & Maggie and their friendly and helpful staff made this an experience that we shall definately repeat.

We have just returned from a long weekend at the Enchanted Manor where we celebrated out 25th Wedding Anniversary. From the time we stepped into this Manor we left reality behind. What a fascinating place to stay. Firstly Ric and Maggie are the perfect hosts and very welcoming. We were made to feel at home straight away. Nothing is too much trouble such as booking restaurants or giving us information on places to visit etc. The food was excellent. We stayed in the Enchantment Suite with all the luxury of a top class hotel. I could have stayed much longer only work and family beckoned!! We really did not want to leave believe you me! We would like to wish Ric and Maggie the best of luck in the future and look forward to our next visit before too long. We will be recommending you to all our family and friends.
Thank you for such a wonderful and memorable stay on our special anniversary.

Ric and Maggie are the perfect hosts and their imagination and enthusiasm has transformed the hotel to live up to its name \"Enchanted Manor\". Large suites, impeccable decor, great attention to detail- definately worth a visit, Paul and Geraldine Wrightman.

The minute my fiance and I walked into The Enchanted Manor, we knew it was going to the best and most magical holiday we\'d ever have. Ric and Maggie greeted us at the door with huge welcoming smiles and showed us into our suite, The Serenity suite which was like something that dreams are made of. We then had a tour of the enchanting dining area and the beautiful gardens both of which are breathtaking. Ric and Maggie reccommeded some great places to visit whilst on the Island and on both nights of our stay, we came back and watched the gorgeous little badgers enjoying their dinner in the woods and garden. We want to say a big big thank you to Maggie and Ric for making us feel so comfortable and for making our holiday so special. We have already recommended The Enchanted manor to all of our friends and families and cannot wait to re-visit later on this year. Thank you again. xxxx

We (family of 5 ) stayed here for 5 days and were treated like royalty! The suites were wonderful, so spacious and every comfort catered for. The 4 poster bed was heavenly and the sitting room with plasma screen , dvd player and well stocked bar was great after a days activities and sightseeing.
The breakfasts were individully prepared and absolutely
delicious. Fantastic menu with all tastes catered for.
We were spoilt rotten by Ric and Maggie who were wonderful hosts and 2 of the nicest people you could possibly wish to meet.

We cant wait to go back and wish them every success which they richly deserve.
Just returned from a wonderful, relaxing, 4 night stay in the Enchanted Manor. As the hotel only opened a few weeks ago you would expect everything to be new and clean but it was much more that. This beautiful house has had months of fantastic restoration and refurbishment work carried out on it, quality decoration and quite superbly furnished to very exacting standards.A wonderful magical ambiance has been created throughout.
We stayed in the Atlantis Suite, pure luxury! It had a spacious separate lounge and dining area, one of the most comfortable beds I\'ve ever slept and an exquisite bathroom with roll top bath.
The wonderful room was almost secondary though to the genuine warmth and friendliness of the owners Ric and Maggie.

Breakfast was delicious and served in the garden room overlooking the pool and gardens.

If you\'re thinking of going to the Isle of Wight and want affordable luxury and something a little different, then check out the web site and book a stay at the Enchanted Manor, you won\'t be disappointed

Last year my husband and I spent four days at Koala Cottage in Godshill and I posted a review of this stay with photographs. Since this visit we have again visited the Isle of Wight as we couldn\'t wait to visit Ric and Maggie\'s new venture the \"Enchanted Manor\" at Niton. WOW - we certainly were overwhelmed at the exceptionally high standard of the accommodation, Ric and Maggie gutted the whole hotel and within six months had turned it into a haven of peace and tranquility, beautiful artwork abounds by Josphine Wall - whose unique works take you into a fantasy world you can just stare into them and totally lose yourself - what could be more therapeutic. The suites were magnificent - we had the Atlantis Suite a large bedroom with everything you could wish for, crystal chandeliers, fantastic silks and brocades, beautiful drapes adorning the windows and very comfortable four poster bed scattered with rose petals. You then go through to your private sitting room with flat screen TV, DVD Player, comfortable sofa, coffee table and everything you could wish for including a sea view. The Bathroom was superb with roll top shaped bath, shower cubicle with power jets, Maggie and Ric\'s legendary super soft bath robes, luxury toiletries and stunning decor yet again.
Breakfast is served in the conservatory over looking the swimming pool - breakfasts were of a very high standard with nothing being too much trouble. In the evenings we went into the conservatory to watch the badgers and foxes come out to feed.
My husband also enjoyed a game of snooker in the snooker room. The Enchanted Manor also has a treatment room where you can spoil yourself with various pampering treatments.
Maggie and Ric are the perfect hosts, although after a very short time they seem like old friends - they are the ultimate in hotel proprietorship.
I knew the Enchanted Manor was going to be excellent - but this couple have created a unique haven it\'s so good you just want your stay to go on and on. They had unbelievable insight into how they wanted the Enchanted Manor to be and they have achieved this and more!!! From the moment you enter the front door you have this amazing feeling of \"I\'m so pleased to be here\".
We took friends with us as I had told them how wonderful Koala Cottage was - and they too are now Ric and Maggie fans!!! They loved the stay and we all hope to return later in the year - mind you after being televised on \"Under the Hammer\" I think bookings will have to be made far in advance - all the words in the dictionary cannot give you the experience of actually staying at this fantastic venue - you have to visit to get the full feeling of beautiful surroundings, amazing attention to detail, LUXURY, LUXURY, LUXURY!!!! and of course to meeting Ric and Maggie and perusing the works of Josephine Wall. Oh! I forgot to mention Mrs. Prendagast the resident friendly Ghost - whose perfume can be smelt now and again - my friend actually swore she smelt this and was very excited.
Congratulations Ric and Maggie and thank you so much for such a wonderful stay we all went home fully refreshed, revitalised and couldn\'t stop talking about the \"Enchanted Manor\". Definitely a 6* establishment in our eyes.
ANOTHER RIC AND MAGGIE MASTERPIECE!!!
