We are proud of our shop at Dinosaur Farm Museum.We offer an extensive range of items at prices to suit all pockets.The items offered consist of inexpensive holiday souvenirs up to more specialized dinosaur models and real fossils.The real fossils we sell are vetted in order to ensure that we have nothing which could be considered as scientifically important because we do not believe that these should be treated in a commercial way. We do however sell replicas of fossils which we would not sell when real. We stock a large range of top quality model dinosaur skulls, skeletons, and fleshed-out dinosaurs from China, which are made of hard resin, generally hand painted, and which are presented on purpose made plinths with brass name tags. These are ‘serious’ models which are priced from tens of pounds up to several hundred pounds each.For children, we have many less expensive models which are soft and will stand dropping! We have books ranging from children’s fun books on dinosaurs to intermediate and more serious books on geology, fossils, and dinosaurs

Our real fossils can be purchased for as little as £1 and up to several hundred pounds.We make a feature of terrific Jurassic ammonites and nautilus from Madagascar. These fossils are world famous for their beauty.They either have multi-coloured minerals inside which are amazing when sold as cut and polished matching halves, or they have in addition to the mineral colour, very good suture line patterns. These are sold as polished whole specimens. The most amazing specimens of all are what are called ‘irridescents’. These fossils are polished to expose the original soft under-shell which still maintains iridescence of all colours of the spectrum even after 160 million years! These really do have to be seen to be believed.We do sell real Isle of Wight fossils, but these are restricted to very common specimens. Many fossils found on the Island are scientifically important, which explains this restriction.Not everything we have for sale in our shop is on display, so if you do not see what you want, please ask because we may have it in storage.Also, for our more expensive offers (over £100), you may wish to make an offer.
