Chestnut Mews Self Catering Holiday Cottages are situated in the beautiful Old Village of Shanklin on the Isle of Wight.
Our 3 bedroom cottages offer a very high standard of spacious, fully equipped accommodation. Both cottages have been awarded the Enjoy England five stars.

Tucked away from the main Village and nestled within a delightful sylvan setting with almost half an acre of sheltered, secluded gardens, Chestnut Mews offers a peaceful and relaxing base with which to explore the Isle of Wight.

The Island is teaming with wildlife and the famous Island Red Squirrels are sometimes spotted around the garden, along with plenty of rabbits and the woodpecker! The cottages are ideally situated for exploring some of the islands 200 miles of stunning coastal and country walks , some of which can be joined at the end of our driveway. The safe sandy Apply Beach is approximately 10 minutes walk through Rhylstone Gardens with its crazy golf, café and band stand.The Old Village is less than a 5 minute walk with its pretty thatched cottages, tea gardens Pubs and gift shops. Jasmine, Honeysuckle & Clematis Cottage also come with complimentary use of, an indoor swimming pool, and gym only a short walk away.

Jasmine, Honeysuckle & Clematis Cottage

Honeysuckle & Jasmine Cottages are both rated as 5 star self catering by Visit England. Clematis Cottage is located next to Honeysuckle, and whilst a new addition for 2012, it has the same layout as Honeysuckle and Jasmine Cottages and will be furnished and presented to the same high standard and benifits from its own private garden.” The cottages are three bedroom and sleep 5 + 1 (to include cot) Our modern and charming three bedroom cottages provide comfortable accommodation for up to 6 guests (or 5 and a cot). Our cottages are fully equipped to a very high standard. They are centrally heated and are inclusive of bedding, towels and utilities. Subject to availability, our guests at Jasmine, Honeysuckle & Clematis Cottage also have complimentary use of the leisure facilities of a neighbouring third party establishment, which are within walking distance and include an indoor pool with Jacuzzi and small gym. Upstairs the cottages have three well proportioned bedrooms. The master bedroom is a double, with an en-suite shower room with French doors opening onto a balcony with views over the garden. The second is a twin bedded room with views over the Mews entrance. The third / middle room is a twin with a single bed, and a choice of either a pull-out full size single bed or a travel cot. There is also a family bathroom with full size bath. Downstairs the cottages are open plan, with a spacious kitchen, dinning area and lounge, equipped with all the appliances required to make your stay a home from home experience. There is also a downstairs toilet/cloak room. French doors open out from the lounge onto an enclosed decked patio area, Honeysuckle and Jasmine overlook the large, mature garden and children's 'little tykes' play area and wooden play house. Clematis Cottage has its own enclosed garden with children's 'little tykes' play set. The cottages are fitted with Kiddy guard stair gates (top and bottom of stairs) and have highchairs and bed guards available if needed. To include: Colour TV, CD and DVD Player,with selection of DVD's, i-pod docking station, WIFI, fridge/freezer, microwave, vacuum cleaner, iron & ironing board, cot, highchair and barbeque. Each cottage has dishwasher, washing machine, hairdryer, clock-radios and free to view SKY Channels. All cottages have Kiddy Guard stair gates fitted to both top and bottom of stairs and have a selection of childrens toys and books etc.
