About Us

The Cabin Cafe is one of those tucked away gems off the beaten track, but once found, never forgotten. The cafe is nestled at the foot of the small cliff, and over looks the picturesque Forelands Beach and Bembridge Ledge with unrivalled views of the English Channel, Whitecliff Bay and Culver downs.

Its the ideal place to enjoy the tranquillity of Forelands beach, although that's not to say there is nothing happening here! There is plenty to watch, the wide variety of birds that come here to feed, the occasional grey seal, the cross Channel ferries and cruise liners coming and going, your children playing on the beach. All this whilst enjoying the hospitality of the cafe, whether its just a fresh coffee or tea, a hand baked cake or locally caught crab, all food is freshly prepared. On a summers day there is no better place to have breakfast.
Open 7 days a week - subject to weather

The cafe grounds and views on a late September aft Peter and Jackie offer a warm welcome to everybody that finds the Cabin Cafe.

They have recently bought the Cabin Cafe, having previously owned Beaufort House Hotel (formerly known as Shangri-La Hotel), Sandown.

All food is cooked/prepared to order and our fresh local crab is mostly caught on Bembridge Ledge right in front of the cafe.

Open 10-4.30 daily 10 to 5 at weekends until end of October(subject to weather)
