No expense has been spared to ensure your stay at Buttercup House is an enjoyable one.

Three rooms are available throughout the year, a large en-suite family room with a double and two single beds, a double en-suite room with separate sitting-room and a double/single room with a private bathroom adjacent.

All our rooms are centrally heated and have either a digital television or ‘Freeview’ pvr, dvd player and a mini fridge. A microwave oven is also available for guests’ use. And, if guests are suitably wi-fi equipped, our broadband connection may be shared.

We have ample safe, off-road parking and secure bicycle storage. We also have four all-terrain bicycles free for guests’ use (subject to availability and only between check-in and check-out times).

We do not accept children under the age of eight nor do we accept pets. This is not to say we don’t love either young children or pets, our own children have flown the nest and we now have four dogs, a cat and two tortoises to keep us occupied.

We are situated mid way between the bays at Freshwater and Totland, both being about 15 minutes walk away and the centre of Freshwater village is an easy five minute stroll.


Please note our check-in time is after 4 pm and check-out is 10.30 am. We cannot entertain any earlier check-ins.
