Brickfields runs the largest BHS approved riding school on the Island. All abilities are catered for, from complete beginners to experienced riders. There are lessons available for half an hour or an hour; these take place in either the indoor arena or one of our four outdoor arenas. Rides out in the country, hacks, are available for half an hour, an hour or more. Riders do need to be at least 8 years old to go out hacking. Brickfields runs a club for regular riding clients, Brickfields Horsemasters Club. The club members receive a monthly newsletter and have many different events that they can take part in throughout the year. Members are welcome to come and join in the yard activities once they have completed a short safety course.

Brickfields can boast having the longest established saddlery shop on the Isle of Wight. We can supply all your needs for both horse and rider. There is also a lovely selection of gifts for you to browse through and treat yourself, or family and friends at home. Just beside the shop you will find the cafe and bar, which looks out on to the main indoor arena. The arena is nearly always in use for shows, lessons or just exercising horses. So you should be able to have a cup of tea or a pint and watch the horses going round!
