The historic harbour is guarded by Yarmouth Castle, the last addition to Henry VIII sea defences; walk around the castle and discover the recreated rooms of the 16th century or simply sit outside and enjoy a picnic while admiring the views out to the sea.

West Wight is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is the ideal spot for catching a glimpse of the local wildlife, walking of just enjoying the beautiful countryside. From here take a visit to one of the Islands many attractions including Freshwater Bay, Alum Bay’s famous coloured cliffs or the Needles, one of Britain's most famous landscapes.
