 Once a grand Victorian house, and established as a hotel early in the last century, The Belmont has a long tradition of offering Standard Superior and Premier guest accommodation in elegant surroundings.Standing in mature grounds well back from the road behind Keats Green, the Belmont enjoys peace and privacy, yet is ideally located a short stroll to the picturesque thatched Old Village and wooded Shanklin Chine, beach and town centre. The colonial-style veranda, spanning the front of the Belmont, is a delightful spot to settle down with a book or newspaper in the morning sun. Indoors, you can unwind in our comfortable lounge with a cup of complimentry tea/coffee and admire the view of the cliff-top church or challenge your partner with one of the many games at your disposal. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Quality and freshness are crucial to achieving satisfaction. Portion Paks are our way to offer our guest's their favourite cereals & preserves in a hygenic, single serve branded pack's from our buffet tables. A Full English, Gluten Free or Vegetarian breakfast is freshly cooked to order, looking out onto the garden from the elegant breakfast room. Breakfast is normally served between 8.30 - 10.00am in the breakfast room. Breakfast from 7.00am can be by arrangement. Finally, we have a good sized car park within the front grounds. A free Broadband Internet connection is available by Reception for you to use your own laptop or there is a computer available for your use, we can order daily newspapers for you.
