Once a Victorian gentleman’s residence, the Belmont offers 4 Star Guest Accommodation in elegant surroundings which is open for 50 weeks. We are known for our warm welcome, friendly efficient service and relaxing atmosphere. The house stands in mature grounds well back from the road behind Keats Green, enjoying peace and privacy yet is ideally located just a short stroll to the picturesque thatched Old Village, Shanklin Chine, the beach and town centre. There are thirteen well-appointed rooms, with a choice of double, twin, and ground floor rooms. All are en-suite, with freeview flatscreen television's, direct dial telephone, clock radio, hairdryer, fan, toiletries and hospitality tray; most face the sea or the garden. Superior rooms are sea-facing with Superking-sized or twin beds, or garden-facing with a four-poster bed, all include 32"Freeview flatscreen TV, clockradio with ipod docking, 2 seater sofa, safe, iron and board and come with bathsheets. Our Premier Room is the largest room with a spacious bathroom, additional furniture, 32" freeview flatscreen television, clock radio with ipod docking, safe, Iron & board and helpful extras such as bathsheets, bathrobes and Slippers [supplement £10 pppn]. The premier 4 poster room has superb sea views, private dressing room 32" freeview flatscreen TV, clock radio with ipod docking, safe, tea & coffee making facilities, bathsheets, bathrobes and slippers.

You start your day with a hearty Full English, vegetarian freshly cooked to order and a Continental breakfast from the buffet tables served in the elegant breakfast room looking onto the secluded sun-trap rear garden. Here you can relax all day. NEW. Relax in our Dr Detox Sauna which is available for our guest to use. The colonial-style veranda, spanning the front of the Belmont, is another delightful spot to settle down with a book or news-paper in the morning sun. Indoors, you can admire the view of the cliff-top church from our comfortable lounge, and find the perfect place for an evening drink in our cosy bar and enjoy a meal from our menu.
