About Barwick Cottages

Barwick Cottages are in the middle of the Island, on a sixteen acre small-holding, containing sheep, horses, ducks, chickens, geese and other small animals, like rabbits and guinea pigs for the children to enjoy feeding.
The cottages are quietly situated 300 yards off the main road with fine rural views in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. At the end of the short farm drive is the popular Chequers Inn which welcomes children and serves food. The pub has a large beer garden with a children\'s play area.

Aside from any geological interest, the Isle of Wight has much to offer travellers who seek a very English style of relaxation. It has a little of everything: castles, nature walks, sandy beaches, seaside resorts, Victorian architecture, gardens, thatch-roofed cottages, fishing villages, sailboat regattas, angling, cycling, dinosaur fossils, shipwrecks, a steam railway, and events that range from a marathon to a Garlic Festival.

All cottages have central heating with electricity provided. Colour television, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, iron/ironing board, toaster, kettle, Hoover, shaving points, radio, cooking utensils, duvets, pillows cots, highchairs and hair dryer.

Each cottage has its own garden furniture, barbecue area, car parking and enclosed garden area. Well behaved dogs are welcome in two of the cottages.

Bed linen is provided free of charge and beds are made on arrival. Towels are also provided.

For cleaning purposes please arrive after 3pm and depart by 10.00am when leaving.

There is a payphone available to all cottages.
